There’s a new easy way to know if it’s the real PCH on Facebook!
Hello, PCH fans! We know that many of our devoted blog readers also enjoy following Publishers Clearing House on Facebook, and I hope you’re one of them! Following the PCH Fan Pages on Facebook is a fantastic way to keep track of new prize opportunities, hear from real winners, and find out what’s new with the PCH Prize Patrol! Unfortunately, there have been some attempts by scammers to create fake PCH Fan pages and impersonate PCH employees. But, never fear, there is an easy way to know if it’s the real PCH on Facebook!
All the official PCH Fan Pages on Facebook are stamped with a blue check mark badge. The badge is small, but its significance is huge – it represents that Facebook has verified the authenticity of the page. All of our Official Fan Pages on Facebook are verified including the updated PCH Prize Patrol Fan Page.
This is important, stay away from any fan page on Facebook that claims to be from PCH, but does not have the blue check mark badge, the symbol of authenticity. Even more important, no one from Publishers Clearing House will ever send you a friend request. If someone sends you a friend request or tries to send you a private message, they are not from Publishers Clearing House, they are an impostor. If this happens, you can report the scammers by going to their page’s cover photo and following the prompts to report the page.
Friends, follow the tips above and you’ll never have to wonder if it’s the real PCH on Facebook. One more thing, PCH NEVER informs winners on Facebook. If you win a PCH SuperPrize, you won’t find out on Facebook. You’ll know when you see the PCH Prize Patrol at your front door!
Have a great day!
