#WinnerWednesday: Tina B. Of Utah Wins $25,000 After Entering For 20 Years

It took Howie Guja of PCH Prize Patrol a while to track down Tina Bates of Kaysville, Utah and present her and her husband with a check for $25,000, but we don’t rest until our legit PCH winners are found. Mrs. Bates said she has been entering the sweepstakes for 20 years and hoped one day PCH Prize Patrol would show up and present her with balloons, flowers and, of course, a big check. “My husband has teased me for years about always entering this,” she said, “but when Friday happened, I said to him, ‘I told you!’” Tina said she has been a stay-at-home mom and always wanted to contribute financially to the family. “This was a windfall I did not expect,” she said. “I’m very grateful. For anyone out there who wonders if the PCH contest is real or not, believe me, it is real. I have the check here in my hand to prove it!”

    1. Hi Maria! Unfortunately that’s a scammer. The real PCH doesn’t notify our major prize winners via phone, standard mail, email, or social media, and we never ask for money to claim a prize. Please report any details you have about that scam contact to us at this link: http://bit.ly/Report-Scam-To-PCH. I also encourage you to check out these Safety Tips for some great info on what to watch for: https://bit.ly/FraudProtection2. Stay safe everyone!!
