When Howie Guja of Prize Patrol arrived at the home of Carla Teasdale in Spanish Fork, Utah, neither she nor her husband, Keith, were at home. The lucky couple had a doorbell camera, which allowed Howie to present them with a check for $10,000 while they were driving in their car. “I am so excited,” said Carla. “[We will] use it on a trip that we got planned. It’s going to be from Tahiti to Hawaii.” Keith knew that Carla had been entering the sweepstakes for a long time, but he never teased her about it. “No, I never did tell her that because we were always hoping to win something,” said Keith. So what advice does Carla have for other potential winners out there? “Keep trying,” she said. “Hopefully you will win! It can happen to anybody.”
