When the Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol showed up at the home of Sun City, Arizona resident Janet Voeltz with balloons, flowers and a giant check worth $10,000, the mother of two seemed initially skeptical. “Oh my goodness sakes,” said Janet. “Really? You’re not joking? I can’t believe it. Thank you! I’ve never had cameras on me before!” To assure Janet that this was no prank, we showed her the actual regular-size check proving that she won 10 grand. “My sister will be [surprised] too,” said Janet. “She’d never believe that I’d won $10!” Janet said she plans on using the money to pay bills and buy Christmas presents.
