When Howie Guja of Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol arrived at the home of winner Stacy Atchley in Lewis, Indiana, Stacy’s son answered the door and called his dad to tell him to race home. When Stacy arrived, PCH Prize Patrol presented him with flowers, Champagne, balloons and two Big Checks: one for a new Ford Ranger Lariat Supercab and the other for the truck’s cash equivalent of $46,310. It took only a few seconds for Stacy to choose the cash prize. When Howie asked if he could use the money, Stacy said, “Who couldn’t?”

Stacy enters PCH sweepstakes regularly and is teased by his son and daughter for doing so, but winning this much cash will surely put an end to that. This PCH winner said he entered often in “the hope of one day winning something substantial. This is a good start!” Stacy grinned as he looked at his two Big Checks and said, “I kind of get to rub this in their noses.” His sage advice for other potential winners out there? “Just keep playing!”
