Snowmageddon Didn’t Stop PCH Online Contest Processing
If you were at your computer yesterday sending in an online sweepstakes entry while Mother Nature was spewing out white flakes in record volumes along the eastern seaboard, you may have wondered if PCH received and processed your contest entry. In spite of the heavy snowstorm recently labeled Snowmageddon, the PCH systems did continue to process online contest entries.
Here at Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes Headquarters in Port Washington, New York, located on the north shore of Long Island, we received about 10 inches of snow on Wednesday. Here are some photos of what greeted us Thursday morning as we came back to the office.
Frosty wind whipping the flag flying over the entrance driveway …
Snow almost covering the company’s name on our sign …
And a neatly plowed circular driveway around the frozen pond in front of our “382” building …
With a huge prize drawing coming up next week, all departments at PCH involved in Contest processing are working extra hard to make sure everything will be ready in time for the February 25th PCH SuperPrize award. And, of course, everyone here is curious to find out who the next big prize winner will be. That winner could be YOU, if you enter the PCH Sweepstakes!
On prize award day, in spite of the frigid temperature, all PCH’ers will be warmed by the thrill of watching the PCH Prize Patrol pull off the surprise winning moment on TV and knowing that we’ve made another lucky person very rich! Until then, we’ll just have to be content looking out at the winter wonderland and wondering who it will be.
That’s the view out my office window, where I’m typing this message.
Good luck in the PCH Contest! Maybe we’ll see YOUR SuperPrize winning moment on February 25th!
