Happy Father’s Day to All PCH Fans!

Last Updated: June 15, 2017

Hey, PCH friends! We just wanted to wish you all a special “Happy Father’s Day”! Father’s Day is when we celebrate the men in our lives, both past and present, those special dads and mentors who have made a positive personal impact on us!

My own father has been an inspiration to me in so many ways, and now that I’m a dad myself, it’s a privilege to pass on what I’ve learned to my own children!

I think some of the lessons I’ve learned might be useful to people trying to stay the course with their entries into the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes. So let me pass on to you what I’m also (attempting to) share with my two young boys!

Dad Rule #1

Never Give Up! – How could I forget the summer I learned how to ride a bike? Although I fell down many times, my dad wouldn’t let me stop learning! Sometimes we need to give ourselves that same “tough love” when it comes to our goals. So for all of you dreaming about winning the SuperPrize, don’t stop. Keep going!

Dad Rule #2

Have Fun! – I’m in the midst of trying to train one of my kids to put their clothes on themselves. It’s not easy, because he’d much rather if I just did it for him! So I decided that the best way to get him interested in it is to turn it into a game! He gets points for finding his shirt sleeves, yanking up his pants, etc.! As soon as I made it entertaining, I never heard a complaint from him. If you’re a PCH player, chance are you know we also try and make entering enter-TAINING too! There’s lots of games to play at PCH.com and with many of them you can collect tokens to use as entries into awesome prizes!

Dad Rule #3

Stay Positive! – We always had a lot of inspirational chats in my house, and I have to give my father (and mother) a lot of credit for that. It taught me the value of faith and of believing in a positive outcome no matter what! You see, sometimes it’s a matter of perspective. There’s always a way to take a negative situation and find out it’s working to create something good later on. So if you’re ever having a bad day, remind yourself: at least I can get free entries for the SuperPrize at PCH.com!

I hope these simple “Dad Rules” make you feel good today, and inspire you to reach out to that “dad” in your life. Whether they’re someone you want to say thanks to or someone you just want to say, “hey, I’m thinking about you today,” definitely take the time to reach out. You’re sure to make their day!
