Big Check for Lucky Las Vegas Winner

Last Updated: February 7, 2012

This time, what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas!

Las Vegas — it’s a city famous for its spectacular shows, unbelievable nightlife and outrageous casinos. It’s a city unlike any other, where people go to escape from their troubles and hopefully come away with exciting memories and a little extra money. Unfortunately, a lot of the time, people end up losing money in Vegas, instead of winning it. But that all changed last week when lucky Las Vegas was visited by the PCH Prize Patrol!

That’s right! About a week ago, my Prize Patrol partner Bob and I flew into McCarran International Airport to show one lucky Las Vegas resident that her luck hadn’t run out.
And Vegas welcomed us with open arms. As soon as we popped out of our PCH Prize Patrol van, our winner’s excited neighbors ran up to us, asking us if the Big Check was for them. Their excitement didn’t even die down when we told them that the check actually belonged to Margaret Lane. They eagerly watched the prize winning moment as we surprised Margaret, who opened the door in her pajamas and slippers!

As we were heading back to our van after the award, we encouraged Margaret’s neighbors to enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes online at http://pch.com. We told them that it’s much better than taking a chance at the casinos, because entering PCH sweepstakes is absolutely FREE!

Unfortunately, Bob and I didn’t listen to our own advice and ended up losing some of our money that night at the slots.

Wishing you lots of luck,

Amanda C.
