Cute Small Dogs Benefit Therapy Dogs Charity
Cute small dogs will do a big good deed when they strut to benefit therapy dogs charity Angel On A Leash on February 10, 2012 at the New Yorkie Runway doggie fashion show.
The New Yorkie Runway doggie fashion show, to be held at the pet-friendly New Yorker Hotel in New York City, is a fun way to showcase doggie outfits and support a worthy cause all at the same time. Celebrities and well-known New York personalities will walk the runway with their pets.
What’s more, in an “American Idol” style competition, dogs from all across the country are trying out for a chance to be in the show and you’re invited to vote for your favorite canine! That’s right, you can watch videos of doggie tryouts and vote for the one you think most deserves to walk the runway in the big event.
Take it from me the audition videos are adorable! Will you vote for one of the cute small dogs like Campari, or a large one with a heart-warming story like Mattingly? Each of the ten canine contestants is talented and lovable, so we’re warning you it might be hard to choose!
To watch each video and vote for your favorite, go to http://www.newyorkierunway.com/vote/. You can only vote once, but you can send your family, friends, and co-workers to vote, if you want. The pup and their human with the most votes, combined with the judges’ scores, will be the winner. Voting will end on Friday, February 3rd, 2012 at midnight.
Publishers Clearing House is proud to be a sponsor of this fun, charitable event. Now in its second year, The New Yorkie Runway Show raises money to support Angel On A Leash, a non-profit foundation that helps train therapy dogs to go into hospitals and institutions to serve those in need. Often these loving animals are responsible for the only smile of the day for patients who have had a particularly rough time.
These talented and fashionable pooches are sure to win your heart, so go ahead and watch the videos and cast your vote. Then, tune in on February 10th to find out who won and watch the show for some laughs and surprises. Here’s a hint: rumor has it that one of the cute small dogs to debut on the “dogwalk” may be a new Prize Patrol “mascot”!
ARF-fully exciting, isn’t it?
