DOGS DON’T JUST WIN AT DOG SHOWS
The Westminster Kennel Club is wrapping up its 138th dog show at New York’s Madison Square Garden tonight. It’s America’s most prominent pooch pageant, attracting nearly 3,000 canines (190 breeds or varieties) and of course their biggest fans: the owners and handlers. The winning dogs jump up excitedly as judges announce the results and the trophies are awarded. While a win is bound to translate into big bucks for some owners and breeders, the dogs aren’t in it for the money.
The same could be said for the dogs whose masters and mistresses win Big Checks in The Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. They can tell that their folks are “over the moon” happy – and that usually translates to extra doggie treats.
Take a look at Bachelor here. He’s never seen anything like this: a Big Check for $100,000.00 presented by the PCH Prize Patrol to his mom, Jan Weaver of St. Louis, MO. Truth be told, Jan never saw anything like this herself. “I’ve never won anything in my life!” she exclaimed once she got over the initial shock.
The next day the Prize Patrol was near Johnson City, TN to surprise Hank Phillips with $10,000.00. Hank and his wife Susan were thrilled of course – by the roses, balloons, the champagne and the Big Check. But their two dogs were more vocal than their folks. The English Setter was too excited to sit still for a photo op while the Miniature Schnauzer’s barking dominated the “winning moment’s” video audio track. You can hear that in the background of WCYB’s news coverage.
Well, who wouldn’t get excited? A SuperPrize worth thousands and millions of dollars from PCH can be life-changing!
So whether you have a dog – or a cat or an iguana or a parakeet or no pet at all – enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes every day for more chances to win. Go to pch.com or pchsearch&win — or pchgames.com where Hank Phillips won. But whatever you do, ENTER, and our next big winner could be you!
Wishing you the best of luck.
