PCH and Almost Home Animal Rescue: A Perfect Pair!

Recently, PCH headed to Almost Home Animal Rescue & Adoption in Patchogue, NY (Long Island) to deliver a $5,000 big check! PCH donates 40% of their profits to charity each year – we like to support local charities like Almost Home, and national charities too.

Almost Home has been committed to helping animals since 2007, by rescuing and finding them loving homes, giving them better quality lives. When Howie and the team arrived, they were greeted by the amazing team and got to meet some of the loving, furry friends (dogs, cats, and rabbits) who are looking for a forever home. We asked the staff how the donation will make a difference, and they said it would help with medical costs, their outreach program, and help save more lives. 

The team got to meet a very special dog, Caesar, who is looking for a home for the holidays. He is a 9-year-old who was found as a stray, is a cancer survivor, amazing with children & people, can be placed with cats, is a coach potato, and loves the car. He tends to get overlooked because of his age and has been with the rescue for almost a year now. Look how cute he is!
