“SPECIAL EARLY LOOK” RESULTS: WHAT PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED TOMORROW?

Last Updated: October 23, 2019

What an exciting day on tap. Soon, the results will be in on our “special early look” to see which prize will be awarded tomorrow! Will it be the $1,000.00 A Day For Life SuperPrize? Or will it be the second chance prize? In case it’s not totally clear, I asked Matt the Stats Man Kelly to give us a brief overview of our “Special Early Look” process and what that means for a winner.

Win $1,000.00 A Day For Life

Matt, can you briefly explain how the “special early look” process works?

Sure. To prepare for the “Special Early Look” drawing, the folks in Sweepstakes Administration work relentlessly to ensure that all eligible prize numbers are loaded into PCH’s Winning Number Generator.

Once a winning number is randomly selected, they check to see if there’s a matching number among the timely returned entries. If there is, that lucky entrant wins the top prize for that event. But if there’s no timely returned matching winning number entry from the “Special Early Look” promotion, the primary prize amount isn’t awarded, and we then go to a Second Chance drawing to award an alternate prize amount.

Oh, and by the way, make sure to head over to our PCH Fan Page on Facebook on October 25 for a cool “special early look” video!

What is the second chance prize amount?

Ready? The second chance prize is a whopping ONE MILLION DOLLARS! So, regardless of whether the Lifetime prize or the second chance prize is awarded, someone is going to strike it rich!

Are SuperPrizes guaranteed?

Yes! SuperPrize funds are guaranteed! We’re PCH – we’re all about awarding BIG MONEY! Sometimes the primary amount is guaranteed to be awarded. But if the primary amount is not guaranteed, or even if it is but there’s no winner, then the second chance prize is awarded. So, for tomorrow that means WE WILL DEFINITELY HAVE A WINNER! We just need to wait and see how much!

Do you need to enter again to be eligible to win the second chance prize?

Nope. You don’t have to enter again to be eligible to win the second chance prize. It’s kind of like a “2 for 1” chance. If you entered to win the primary prize and a winner isn’t found, you’re automatically eligible to win the second chance prize, which again is an incredible $1,000,000.00! Not too shabby for second place, right? By the way – this second chance feature is unique to Publishers Clearing House. The state lotteries don’t give “second chances” on one entry (and they’re not free either). Clearly PCH is the way to go.

Are winners usually happy with the second chance prize?

Of course, they are! “I don’t want $1,000,000.00,” said no one ever! Really though, we’ve NEVER had a winner that wasn’t absolutely ecstatic about becoming a millionaire! In fact, I’ve awarded a lot of different prize increments, and people are always so excited to win – and they’re always really grateful too. We have the best fans.

Thanks, Matt. Well, there you have it. I hope you have a better understanding of our “Special Early Look” results process and what prize will be awarded tomorrow. Feel free to ask any questions or tell us what you’re thinking in the comments below. I also hope you entered as many times as possible to win the $1,000.00 A Day For Life SuperPrize. Will the Prize Patrol knock on your door tomorrow? Will you become the next PCH Millionaire? You’ll just have to wait and see! Good Luck, everyone!
