Spider Solitaire Will Really Suit You!

Last Updated: April 10, 2018

You’ve played Spider Solitaire before, right? If you have, you know it’s one of the greatest solitaire games around! Whether you play an easy Spider Solitaire single suit game or a more challenging 4 suit game, you’re in for a web of fun!

The goal of the game is to make sure all four of your 2’s are in the leftmost columns, and that each row builds up in suit to the right!

First you want to turn over as many of the hidden face down cards as possible. That’s the most basic strategy! As you can see in the photo above in the Spider Solitaire single suite game, it’s a lot easier when each card can be moved around. It’s the multi-suit difficulty levels that get tricky.

Next, build as many columns as you can! If you’re going for a really high score, this is crucial. And when you’re not playing Spider Solitaire single suit, this strategy is absolutely necessary. You can’t move groupings of different suits to other columns!

After that, you really want to start clearing columns. You need to clear up as much space as possible for those odd cards that don’t fit in any of your current value sequences.

Once you have mastered a Spider Solitaire single suit game, you may be ready to move on to a multi-suit game. If so, consider these options:

  • Strive to construct your groupings by same suit – you’ll be able to swap positions a lot easier, find hidden cards, and archive entire columns a lot easier!
  • Once you have filed away one entire suit, you can use those vacant spots to arrange your other suits of remaining cards

And don’t forget to move quickly! If you’re playing Spider Solitaire single suit, you can fly through your moves quickly. But once you start getting into the harder games, you may find yourself slowing down. But don’t forget that time is of the essence, and you only have a few minutes per game! And not only that, you’ll be having so much fun that time will fly!

When you finish playing online spider solitaire, don’t forget to check out all of the other FREE solitaire games PCH has to offer! Each game has a different twist, making it challenging and exciting at the same time. Some of these games include Pyramid Solitaire, Tri-Peaks, and more.

So don’t be surprised when you start playing Spider Solitaire single suit – you might just get stuck in its web!
