Giving Tuesday: PCH Wraps Gifts For Children In Need!
Over at the PCH offices, we believe it’s never too early to get in the holiday spirit … and we ALSO believe in giving back to those in need, especially around the holiday season.
So, that’s why I’m so happy to share this heartwarming story with you – November 29th was such a GREAT day at the PCH offices. That’s when we held an amazing “Giving Tuesday” event, where PCH employees had the opportunity to volunteer their time to wrap gifts for children in need.
Many PCH employees attended this “Giving Tuesday” event, which was held in a few of the PCH cafes. All those who were there were so thrilled to be helping out with such an amazing and thoughtful cause during the holiday season. And best yet, there were approximately 2,000 gifts wrapped this year!
Many PCH employees were filled with joy to be a part of such an amazing event. Here’s what some of them had to say:
“I think it’s wonderful to give back, and that I’m able to work with such a great team today.” – Kathy T.
“I feel blessed. There are others in need, and it gives us the opportunity to give to those in need.” – Bob V.
“Christmas is the spirit of giving. At this time, I love giving back because of the wonderful blessings I have.” – Linda S.
“It’s not just about awarding big checks … sometimes wrapping a big gift is all it takes to make someone happy.” – Danielle Lam
“I like to see the faces of the kids when they pull the wrapping off the gifts.” – Mary Beth H.
“I’m very excited for the kiddies that are getting these gifts. And I hope they have happy holidays.” – Camille R.
It was a joyous occasion, indeed. While they wrapped gifts for a great cause, PCH employees listened to holiday music, ate cookies, drank eggnog, and smiled at the fact that they helped children in need. The event was a great way to give back during the holidays – and what a truly rewarding experience it was, for all!
We’re wondering … how are you giving back during this holiday season? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
