Another thing that you may want to know is that Saturday is World Ocean Day! I just wanted to dedicate this blog to reminding you that you should be making earth-friendly choices every day!
With a simple search on PCHsearch&win I found many ways to be environmentally friendly! Here are 5 easy ways that I found;
- Pay close attention to how you use everyday resources. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!
- Plant trees.
- Conserve water. You can take shorter showers, fix leaking pipes, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, use water-saving appliances, etc.
- Pay attention to how you travel. Carpool to work or choose direct routes to save on fuel. Whenever you have the option of walking or riding a bike, do that!
- Buy locally grown food or grow some of your own food.

- There are many non-profits that offer individuals the opportunity to plant trees in local parks and city streets. They also need help with taking care of existing trees.

Maybe this month you can join a campaign that aims to protect the environment or even help out a local organization with their fund-raising efforts!
