The Giveback 2019 Crosses A Major Milestone for PCH Philanthropy

The Giveback is back and better than ever! One of the most highly anticipated events on the PCH calendar, the Giveback is an annual philanthropic endeavor that raises awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. The Giveback also includes an annual donation from Publishers Clearing House – and with this year’s donation of $150,000, PCH will have donated more than $1,000,000 to St. Jude!

Along with being an event that enables PCH to – literally – give something back, this year’s Giveback also has PCHers putting their best feet forward in support of St. Jude. On September 21, PCH employees will contribute thousands more to the cause by participating in the St. Jude Walk/Run Long Island. And you can join us!

I chatted with PCH Team Captain Nelly Ortiz about the upcoming event and here’s what she said: “Everyone at PCH is so excited to kick off our 9th annual The Giveback campaign, as well as our partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. We’re proud to join with PCH fans in supporting the hospital’s mission: Finding cures. Saving children.®”

While The Giveback may be the most prominent of PCH’s philanthropic endeavors, it is by no means the only one. In fact, more than 40 percent of PCH’s profits go to trusts for the benefit of charities that support the arts, human rights, the environment, medical research and services, and other worthy causes.
