Be Positive and Your PCH Dreams Can Come True Too!
Hello Blog Readers!
Over the past few months, I’ve been busier than normal. As most of you know, I kept my day job as an assistant to an insurance broker when I won the SuperPrize in 2008. If you remember, that’s the same job the Prize Patrol surprised me at during my winning moment! You can see it all at PCHTV.com.
But what made things even busier was that this summer, I decided to get my Ohio Health and Life Insurance License. But like all things, it was definitely easier said than done. I had to find a school, register for my class and study, study, study. Did I mention study?
For months, I hunkered down and started pouring through the materials. I even made flash cards of the terms that gave me the most trouble.
In the final study week, something towards the back of my textbook struck me. The textbook told me to stay calm (of course!), be positive and to let others know that I planned on passing my test on my test date.
“Be positive” … now I can relate to that! If you’ve read my other blogs or follow me on Facebook, you know that I firmly believe in the Power of Positive. When I was entering the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes, I did my best to stay positive. Even as others won, I cheered for them and kept on entering. In the case of taking my exam, I had to keep the same mentality. So, I told myself, “WHEN I pass my exam, I will ask my husband to take me out to dinner at Toledo’s new Casino. That same weekend, I WILL rest my brain AND reconnect with my PlayStation 3.”
With these promises in mind, I walked in to my exam. Almost two hours later, I walked out with a paper that declared that I passed! I was so excited that I ran across the street to my school to show them my achievement. Then I called my husband and told him to get gussied up to take me out to dinner. And then, I spent the next two days spending quality time with my PS3.
Passing the exam made me feel free, just like my SuperPrize win did in 2008. The SuperPrize win allowed me to drop two of my three jobs and gave me financial freedom. And my new license will allow me to grow within my field — a real dream come true.
So blog readers, if you haven’t won the SuperPrize yet, don’t give up! If you work hard and keep at it, your dreams can come true! So BE POSITIVE and keep on entering in every way you can! As you heard yesterday, the $5,000.00 A Week “Forever” Prize is BACK. And remember, a “Forever” prize winner would receive $5,000.00 a week for life AND after that, payments would continue on to a special someone the “Forever” winner chooses for their life!
If you won on February 28th, how would YOU use that money to change your life? Let us know in the comments below. GOOD LUCK!
