April Fools

Happy April Fools’ Day, my blog pals!

It’s amazing the hoaxes people have fallen for on April 1st! In 1980, British citizens became outraged when the BBC reported that Big Ben was going to be altered to have a digital readout. Well it would be a little easier to read (joking!).

Big Ben

In 1998, Burger King took out a full-page ad to advertise a Left-Handed Whopper. Thousands of “southpaws” flocked to Burger King to discover that it was the same old Whopper – with napkins and condiments on the left-hand side of the tray.

But what I’m telling you now is NO trick: the Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol will award a millionaire-making prize in just weeks – in our Special Early Look $7,000 A Week For Life prize event!

Though I hate to sound like a “nudge,” the joke could be on YOU if you don’t fire up an entry today and every day for this amazing prize.  Enter on pch.com, PCHSearch&Win, PCHgames, PCHlotto – so many easy, fun ways to log in another chance to win a huge fortune!

Speaking of jokes… and our Prize Patrol… thought you’d like to see some of the “bloopers” the Prize Patrol sometimes makes during our commercial spots. Hey, they’re only human – and great sports, too!

No one can pull the wool over your eyes on April 1st – or any day. Our Sweepstakes is the real deal.  And on April 30, you could open the door to some pretty persuasive proof …
