Happiness is A Big Check from PCH
At my house we have a new little doggie named Lily, and she is an absolute delight. She reminds me of that famous quote from Charles Schulz, the creator of the classic comic strip “Peanuts”: “Happiness is a warm puppy.” Oh so true. No one can see her or hold her without saying “Aww, how cute” and “Can I have her?”
You know what else produces happiness? I can tell you — because I’ve seen it in-person hundreds and hundreds of times: It’s the “Publishers Clearing House winning moment” — when our Prize Patrol presents a Big Check worth thousands, even millions of dollars to a lucky and totally stunned winner of our fabulous sweepstakes. Besides the usual shock and frequent tears there is immense happiness.
The good news spreads quickly, and family and friends come running to see all the excitement. “OMG” they exclaim. “I’ve seen it on TV, but I never expected to see something like this so close to home!”
Other bystanders stand with their mouths wide open. “You mean real people actually win?”
I must admit, we Prize Patrol’ers are a bit disheartened to hear such remarks. After all, the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes has been around since 1967! We’ve awarded prizes worth over a quarter of a billion dollars! We’ve travelled all over the USA for more than 27 years, knocking on winners’ doors and presenting roses, balloons and Big Checks as the video camera catches the “winning moment” for all you TV viewers to see. What’s not to believe?!?!
If you’d like a nice dose of happiness, get a puppy. But if you’d like a humongous dose of happiness — the kind that affords you some of the finer things of life plus financial security, enter our sweepstakes today and every day at pch.com. With some luck the Prize Patrol could arrive at your door and announce “You are a Publishers Clearing House winner!”
How’s that for happiness?
