PCH Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness!
Have you ever endured something challenging in life? When faced with a hardship, you can make it through everything when you have friends by your side, right?
Support is SO important, so that’s why all this week, PCH is GOING PINK for breast cancer awareness! That’s right! We’ve partnered with Susan G. Komen®, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever!
Did you know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime? It’s a staggering statistic, but here’s another one: there are more than 3 million breast cancer survivors living in the United States today. That’s 3 million women who didn’t give up fighting, and we salute every single one of them! And we couldn’t be more proud to kick off our “PCH Going Pink” week! Our goal? To help Susan G. Komen® get that number of survivors even higher!
Help us spread the message! An early diagnosis is one of the best ways to increase a person’s chance of beating the disease. Over on our PCH Fan Page on Facebook, we’re asking all of our fans to share the GOING PINK badges we’ve made. Whether you’re sharing it for your sister, your mother or friend, we want you to get the word out about this very important topic…after all, this is a LIFESAVING mission!
Publishers Clearing House will also be making a $25,000 donation to Susan G. Komen®. Komen has played a vital role in many major advancements in the breast cancer movement, helping to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors. They are the world’s largest private nonprofit supporter of breast cancer research and community outreach programs, and we are very proud to stand alongside them!
So don’t delay – go to the PCH Fan Page on Facebook now and every day this week and share one of our images. You’ll be showing public support for someone you know and love, PLUS you’ll be encouraging others to take action in their own lives. Let’s link arms with those who are on the front lines – they need our valuable support!
