Meet Paula Sullivan, Our Newest Million Dollar SuperPrize Winner
“I didn’t think I’d ever win, [but] look at me!” exclaimed Paula Sullivan moments after we rang her Florida doorbell and surprised her with roses, balloons and a Big Check – with her name and $1 Million SuperPrize printed on it!
Such uncertainty aside, Paula has been playing PCH Games and entering our sweepstakes every single day – because she likes to have fun and because she wanted to win.
Paula is a retired registered nurse with several health issues of her own. She has been living on her social security income alone in a hurricane-damaged house and budgeting $30 a week for food. Keeping up with an ever-growing stack of bills has been a challenge.
“You don’t know how badly I need it” Paula cried as she shakily grasped the Big Check. She recognized the Prize Patrol faces she sees every day online, but never thought she’d meet Danielle, Howie and yours truly in person.
Neighbors watched the “sur-prize” presentation from across the street. One woman came over later to see if what looked like a PCH “winning moment” was true, determined that it was, declared Paula “the most deserving person” she knew, then went home and cried. Indeed Paula is a deserving person. With her nursing background and a deep religious faith, she has provided blessings and a helping hand to many in need.
Aside from getting a good night’s sleep after all the excitement, Paula is thankful and just wants to take it easy, saying “I have a whole bunch of new things to think about!” High on her “to-do list” is a new tee-shirt for her toy poodle Jovan – who greeted the Prize Patrol with an expression of “What took you so long?”
Congratulations Paula, and welcome to our huge and ever-growing family of winners! And to the rest of you, take Paula’s advice: “Don’t give up!” Enter the PCH Sweepstakes every chance you get — and you could be a winner too!
