PCH Winners Have the “Write” Stuff!
Greetings, Fans and Friends – and happy #WinnerWednesday!
You may know, from reading my blog posts, that I love searching on PCHSearch&Win to find out what little known holiday or observances fall on #WinnerWednesday. Well, today, June 10th, is Ball Point Pen Day!
There’s a famous phrase that goes “The pen is mightier than the sword” – meaning that ideas that are expressed in writing can be much more consequential than violence. Words can influence and inspire countless people, and they can live on forever.
Words of gratitude are especially powerful. When people write thank-you notes and positive messages to others, it makes both the sender and the receiver happy.
PCH winners are especially happy to write to us, letting us know how thankful they are for their prizes and what it means to be part of the PCH “winners’ circle.” And here are just a few “love notes” from some of our smaller prize winners:
Carolyn J. of Hyattsville, Maryland, a $100 PCH winner, comments, “I feel blessed and happy. It is well needed. I didn’t know how I was going to make ends meet. Plus, with a fixed once-a-month income I didn’t know how I was going to get food but thank you so much PCH. You have made me a believer again.”
Joseph Q. of Tacoma, Washington, a $25 PCH prize winner, writes, “Makes me feel that it is worth the wait. I continue to play daily, entering all that is afforded to me in the hopes that one day I may win a ‘life-changing’ prize. With this small win, I’ve been recharged to continue playing. Just wished it was a bigger one!! With patience, determination and belief, I will win the ‘big’ one. Thanks, PCH.”
Patricia H. of Breinigsville, Pennsylvania won $20 from Publishers Clearing House and wants everyone to know “It’s real! My first win!! It truly happens, don’t give up!!”
Daniel S. of Great Falls, Montana, who won a $100 PCH prize, tells us, “My wife and I were shocked when we saw we won $100.00!!!! We have won $10.00 and $20.00, but this is the first $100.00. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We love playing PCH Front Page and all PCH games.”
Ricky T. of Kerrville, Texas, another $100 winner, compares his PCH experience to a popular song. He says, “It’s like the song by Journey, ‘Don’t Stop Believing.’”
For Desireen A. of Jacksonville, Florida, winning a $5 PCH prize was a pretty big deal. “It’s definitely real! This is my first time winning anything on PCH!” she writes.
Fans and friends, it’s Ball Point Pen Day, so why not pick up a pen and send someone a note that’ll mean something to them – whether it’s someone who’s shut in their house or in a nursing home due to coronavirus … your BFF … a veteran whom you want to thank for their service … hey, you can even write a letter to yourself that you can read in the future!
And if YOU are a PCH winner, why not share your winning experience by typing a few words into the comments section of this blog post? We’re always excited to hear from you!
At PCH, all our fans and friends have the “write” stuff – the persistence, positive attitude and patience to stay in it to win it. Keep entering every day in every way because you could become our next winner! “Write on”!
Thank you, all, for making PCH part of your day! As always, please stay happy, healthy and safe!
