Throwback Thursday: PCH Celebrates Over 75 Millionaires and Counting!
Back in 1953, when Publishers Clearing House was founded in the garage of Harold and LuEster Mertz, little did they know that their small company would one day change the lives of so many people! All they wanted to do was sell some magazine subscriptions, but since then, Publishers Clearing House has grown by leaps and bounds, and so has our sweepstakes!
Last year we celebrated 60 years as a company, and in that time we have made over 75 people millionaires. That’s right, we’ve awarded at least $1 Million or more to over 75 people!

And now just like us here at Publishers Clearing House, she’s able to impact the lives of others. Although you can tell she’s too humble to talk about her generosity, Penny confesses that she has been known to assist those less fortunate.
“I’m now able to help others that are in need. I can give to people who need help…the way I’ve always wanted to. It’s a good feeling. I thank God everyday!”
