We recently explained that prize winners are still being selected, both big and small. But the challenge of surprising winners in person is obviously something we take very seriously, and we’ve considered a lot of options!
For example, today we’re scheduled to award $100,000.00 in Dave’s 500th Prize Event. Are we still delivering the prize? You bet…just differently than we have in the past! Do PCH contact winners in advance to make sure they are home?
Hi Carl! All of our major prize winners are awarded in person by our famous Prize Patrol, with NO prior warning. We want it to be a complete surprise! If a winner is not home, the Prize Patrol will do whatever it takes to locate them. Rest assured, if you are our lucky winner, you will receive your award. On giveaway days we encourage everyone to go about business as usual. With that being said, there are many times that the Prize Patrol has surprised winners at their place of employment.
