Follow-Up Winner Interview With $1,000,000.00 PCHlotto Winner!
Most of the good things in life don’t come easy, right? For example, in today’s PCH winner interview with PCHlotto “Life Is Rich” $1,000,000.00 winner Jason Lawler, you’ll learn he’d been entering for about five years! But this is one person who truly values his newfound fortune, because he never gave up!
“It’s been over five years! Sometimes I’d get on the app and play ALL of the games, all in one day.”
Here’s Jason’s winning moment!
Here’s how things went down for this PCH winner, according to Jason during his winner interview:
“It was weird, I actually took off a little early to run an errand. Apparently, they had been looking for me during the day, and they got a hold of my neighbor and asked her. She told them I didn’t get home from work until after 5, so I guess they got her to call me. So, she called and asked me when I was coming home from work that day, but I told her ‘I’m actually just a couple minutes away!’ She was like, “Ok there is a delivery man waiting here on you’ and I was thinking, ‘what did I order? I don’t remember ordering anything for delivery.’ Then I pulled up in my driveway, and I was expecting a UPS truck to be there, but then the Prize Patrol van pulled up to my yard, and I didn’t believe it or know what was going on! Then I recognized Danielle getting out of the van, and I could not believe this was happening. I knew who she was and what seeing her meant!”
An avid PCH player, Jason was fully aware that the Prize Patrol often makes deliveries of varying sizes. So when he saw that it wasn’t a check for $10,000.00 but $1 MILLION, he couldn’t believe it.
“I’m still without words now! I’m absolutely tickled to death, though. I’m going to be able to retire a lot earlier than I thought I would.”
“It’s just absolutely a burden off of my shoulders,” Jason said as his PCH winner interview continued. “A big relief. Not that I was in dire straits or anything, but there’s a lot more I can do now.”
Jason told us that the first person he told over the phone was his father, but he didn’t have to do any more calling to let his friends know. The local news and the power of social media did the work for him!
“Facebook and local news did the job – I didn’t have to tell anybody! Minutes after the prize patrol left, my cell phone started blowing up!”
As we concluded our PCH winner interview, I asked Jason to share a few words for all of you out there, the other future PCH-winning hopefuls.
“Keep on keepin’ on. Because it actually happens! Someone’s going to win…and it could very well be you, because I didn’t think it would be me!”
