Just Imagine Winning $5,000 A Week For Life From PCH!

As I was fiddling with my TV’s remote control the other day, a cute young woman popped on to the screen singing an old song called “Just Imagine.” It was that 1940’s/‘50s movie star June Allyson appearing in an MGM musical “Good News” – all about rah-rah college life in the Roaring Twenties.

Well, the song’s lyrics were all about imagining that the campus football hero (Peter Lawford) would propose marriage — right after he scored the winning touchdown in the Big Game, of course. Guess what: Her imaginings came true by movie’s end.

It’s now 2010 – many decades later. I could write some new lyrics to that “Just Imagine” song, and they’d have nothing to do with college life. Here they are:

“Just imagine – the Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol rings my doorbell. Ding-a-ling. I open the door and what should I see: roses, balloons, champagne, smiling faces, a video camera, and a huge Big Check that says I’ve won $5,000 A Week for Life!

“Just imagine – the thrill of it all, the freedom from financial stress, the fun of having a bank account large enough to have a new home, a new car, a vacation whenever I want, with plenty left over to share.

“Just imagine – not marrying a college football hero but winning the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes! Now that would indeed be a dream come true!”

OK, these lyrics might not work with the music. But that dream could come true if you wake up and ENTER the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes at pch.com. By the way, there’s another song in that “Good News” movie called “The Best Things in Life Are Free.” Entering and winning at PCH is FREE! So what are you waiting for? The deadline for our “$5,000 A Week for Life” SuperPrize is August 23 which gives you time to enter today — and enter every day until then to improve your chances of winning.

So go for it! Just imagine that our next huge SuperPrize winner could be you!

I would love to wing the $5.000.00 a week for life prize. There is so much that I could do to help others. I would by paying for an appropriate burial plot for my mother. Next I would make sure she is living in a more comfortable Assisted Living facility. Next I would make a difference with my neighbors who are unfortunate and complete the renovations at my local church. My grandaughter is a Doctoral Candidate and I would assist her in opening a school for children who have special needs. There is so much that could be done with a large some of money like that; however, I realize that everyone can not win and to who ever does, I say to “God Be the Glory”

It would be wonderful to win. We could help our three adult children with their home mortgages & my sister in the nursing home

  4. Dave,Todd & Danille would like nothing more than see ya at my front door. I’m a retired banker most all my life, as a teller in the money vault, counting, straping and bagging loads of money and shipping it out. Wishing I was queen for a day, after about a week of it you got use to working around it and you didn’t think of it as money anymore, it was just a job, only looked forward to your pay check and then that was yours. Good Luck to All.

  6. I never win anything in my life
if I win there is so much misfortune that happens to my families will able me to help some of them to dream and hope
again I know it’s only a dream but sometimes dreams are what you
need if that is the only hope you got.

We would all love to win, who wouldn’t right. Like me married, five kids at the age of 28, full time college student who has change her life around for her children. On welfare and living off of $780 a month, husband unemployed and has been for a long time. It’s up to me to support my family, and as we speak we are in the process of putting our stuff in storage and not knowing were we are going stay. It is extremely hard to keep it together, but I have to for my children. We could all use that money for whatever reasons we have right, but will it ever happen? You never know, It’s like one of those sayings, “It sounds to good to be true.” chances are slim, 1 out of billions will will. Will I or you be that one out of a billion? You never know. With respect, Christal Gonzalez

I want to build a “HOPE House” for cancer patients who have to travel to our local Cancer Center for treatment. A place where they can stay and feel comfortable. My fiance and I stayed in a boarding house in Minneapolis, MN while he received a bone marrow transplant. Despite the treatment, he did not survive and passed in 2000. The house would be built in memory of him. It’s been a long-standing dream to be able to help others in this capacity. Last year a group of committed citizens and professionals put together the first breast cancer awareness confenence in Grand Forks, ND. We are planning the second annual conference now. It would be so nice to not worry how to cover those expenses. $5000. dollars a week would help pay for both the conference and a “HOPE House” having an impact on the many in our area who are affected by this horrible disease.

  9. If I won the money I would buy a big house for me and my childrens and grandchildrens. I’m a single mother and struggling to make ends meet and I would put away money for my childrens and grandchildrens to get an education and to succeed in life and to have a better life then mine.
