To Win Big Bucks Get In The Running!

To win big bucks at Publishers Clearing House, you have to get in the running!

There was an article recently in The New York Times about the seemingly countless ways the word “run” is used in every-day language.  For example, run a boat aground; a run in one’s stocking; take the money and run; run it up the flagpole; “also-ran”; run a fever; running on empty; runs in the family – and more.

It made me realize how often the word “run” is used as we PCH Prize Patrol members get ready to surprise people who win big bucks in the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.  We “run” a sweepstakes to draw attention to our terrific deals on magazines and merchandise; we “run” commercials on TV which urge people to enter the sweepstakes before time “runs” out; we “run” a computer program to see if there is a match to the winning number; we “run” all over the USA awarding big bucks prizes; we “run” up the walk and ring the doorbell; we see tears “run” down the cheeks of the overjoyed winner.  Phew, I’m exhausted just thinking about all that running.

But we never tire of thrilling those lucky people who had the good sense to enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.  They figure, “Someone’s got to win the big bucks.  Why shouldn’t it be me?”

That’s the spirit!  That’s the positive attitude I see in every big bucks winner that we Prize Patrol’ers visit.

Are you “running” out of money?  Has your old car just about “run out of gas”?  Could your bank account use a “home run”?  Well, you’ve come to the right place! Publishers Clearing House has awarded over $220 MILLION in giant cash prizes, AND there is still a ton of prize money waiting to be delivered.

So “run,” don’t walk, to where you can get in the “running” win big bucks prizes.  And be sure to check out all the other opportunities to “Play & Win” – also at

Your “run” of good luck could begin today!

Since I have never won in a sweepstakes, I am really hoping for one here. As a Super Senior, I really need a BIG WIN as my income will cease very soon and leave only Social Security, which the Feds will take care of. I have four married children with 12 grandchildren whom I wish to share a win with, after paying off my mortgage and other debts.

I play just about everyday, my mother played. She passed away in January of 2008 and I continue to play hoping not only her dream but now also mine would eventually win at pch. I just read an awful page on all these people that seem to believe that they have been scammed by PCH for years. I pray and hope this is not true. I’ve put a lot of time into Publishers Clearinghouse for years, being told I was a fool, but swearing it would come true for Me.

      Hi Eileen,

Please be assured, if you are one of our lucky winners you will definitely be notified. If you are picked as a winner of a prize of $10,000 or more, you will be notified in person by the Prize Patrol. Prizes of under $10,000 are notified by certified mail or by courier. These awards are done as soon as all winning entries and prizes are matched. Our most recent winners can be found on the top of our web site on the scrolling bar and under the “Winners Circle” link. You may also view some of our winning moments at:

Our mailings are opportunities for a chance to win, and provide clear information that the recipient has not yet won any prize, must enter by the deadline, and must be chosen to win. In order to win an entry must be selected by random drawing or match the winning number selected. Please remember that while we receive entries from all across the land only one individual can actually win each giveaway.

At PCH, we are highly concerned about reports of scam artists using our name and good reputation to try and deceive consumers. We want you to know at PCH it is never necessary to pay any money to enter, win or collect one of our prizes. At Publishers Clearing House, the winning is always free! A legitimate sweepstakes will NEVER ask you to send or wire money to enter a sweepstakes, claim a prize or to pay a fee, tax or deposit of any kind. If you are asked to send money to claim a sweepstakes prize for any reason, you are being scammed. If you receive a check and are asked to send money back – you are being scammed.

If you believe you are the victim of a fraudulent contact using the Publishers Clearing House name or logo, please contact us immediately by calling our toll free number at 1-800-392-4190. If you have received a suspicious email using our name and logo, please forward it to our fraud reporting mailbox, We also encourage consumers to visit the Consumer Affairs section on our website at, where there is more valuable information on how to protect oneself and avoid falling victim to sweepstakes scams. One last question. I see GWY No. 1400 on the promotion for 10 Million and for 5000 a week for life is this a pool of all eligible entries? or two separate sweeps with different submissions?

Thanks and I wish love and best of luck to everyone entering.

    1. PCH Customer Service PCH Customer Service says:

      Hi Kyle,

PCH will send out numerous promotional entries which provide you additional opportunities to enter. Various presentations of these Giveaways using various prizes/prize values may be presented to the public and are are valid ways in which we may award the prize. However, only one of the amounts above will be given away. We figure out how to award this prize after we draw a winning entry, we look at the mailing in which this prize was advertised and that is how the payout is awarded.

The reason we currently have many ways to have this prize awarded is because this adds some excitement and mystery to the giveaway. An entrant may have entries with all the different amounts advertised, so the lucky winner, not only will be surprised by the fact that they won, the payout method will be surprising!

In the event of an “Advanced Look”, a SuperPrize number is drawn and, if the winning entry has been returned, the prize is awarded. If the winning number was not returned, the prize rolls over to the next draw date. If the prize is not awarded on any of the “Advanced Look” draw dates, the prize will be awarded on the end date specified in the Sweepstakes Facts.

To determine which draws you are entering, when their end dates are and what your odds of winning are, please review the “Sweepstakes Facts” pamphlet that came with your entry or click on the “Sweepstakes Facts” link on your online entry form. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Best of luck in the sweepstakes!
      Jodi @ PCH
