Win “Forever” & Every Day Will Be “Independence” Day!

Happy Independence Day PCH blog readers! Today is the day we celebrate our freedom as a nation — and a day for fireworks, picnics, get-togethers and patriotic fervor.  Let’s face it: these are treasures no amount of money can buy.

And then there’s that other kind of independence that sure helps with one’s day-to-day life in these United States: financial independence.

Well, that kind of independence could be yours in just a few weeks: on August 31st to be specific — because YOU could win Publishers Clearing House’s new Win “Forever” Prize: that’s $5,000 a week for the rest of your life, then – after that – someone you choose gets $5,000 a week for their life!

Of course this fabulous SuperPrize won’t be delivered to your doorstep without some luck AND, most importantly, some action on your part.  But, believe me, that action is simple.

In the coming days you will see our new PCH TV commercials, urging you to go to pch.com and enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.  Each of the commercials is full of happy PCH Sweepstakes winners who took action, entered our Sweepstakes, and won!  Their action paid off — just as yours can.

These commercials also show winners’ family members who were present at the “winning moment, and no doubt enjoyed the thrill of seeing the Prize Patrol arrive with roses, balloons and The Big Check.  But these bystanders didn’t reap the benefit of a Win “Forever” Prize the way someone dear to you could.  Just imagine: you could win $5,000 a week for the rest of your life, then – after that – someone you choose gets $5,000 a week for their life!

So don’t delay.  Enter now – and every day.  Simply click here on this link to pch.com and get started!

Wishing you a very Happy Independence Day — and financial independence for you and a loved one “Forever”!

Dave Sayer

Prize Patrol Ambassador

P.S. WOW! Go to PCHgames today and you’ll get an amazing (and patriotic!) 1,776 tokens on login! Can anyone guess why that number was chosen?

Thank you Dave Sayer, Prize Patrol Ambassador for that inspiring letter about the 4th of July, our Independence Day!

Our family has already started celebrating the 4th of July to day on the 3rd of July!!!! So I just wanted to wish you and every one at PCH a Happy Independence Day!

YES, YES, YES, I would love to have the opportunity to be financially independent., it is one of my dreams. I would love to be on one of those commercials winning the new Win “Forever” SuperPrize: that’s $5,000 a week for the rest of my life, then – after that – someone I choose gets $5,000 a week for their life! I just think this is the best contest ever! Thank you PCH!!!

Answer to your questions: P.S. WOW! Go to PCHgames today and you’ll get an amazing (and patriotic!) 1,776 tokens on login! Can anyone guess why that number was chosen? Because on July 4th 1776 they approved Declaration of Independence. There was a meeting at the Pennsylvania State House. Where July 4th was started. Thank god for that.

It’s the year we won our indepence 1776. Kansas has several bans this year on fireworks because of the heat and no moisture. I could not imagine being a kid with no fireworks. All we can look forward to is food and family. I’m wishing a safe and happy holiday to everyone else!!!!! Maybe in September we will get to watch the annual Labor Day fireworks show.

Just before today is a holiday called “Independence” Day!, It’s a hurricane, It’s a tornado, No,it’s a derecho because only a metorologist was likey to have made the right guess about the violent storm system that hit the Washington area last Friday night when the Derechos occur only about once every four years in the Washington,D.C. area, according to the National Weather Service, They are more likey in the Midwest and Great Lakes, between May and July, The worst news from the National Weather Service’s Web site description: “Derecho damage to overhead electric lines sometimes results in massive, long-lasting power outages because…in the worst events, power may not be restored for many days” because a derecho is a fast-moving, long-lived, large, vioent thunderstorm complex when by definition, it creates wind damage along a swath of more then 240 miles and produces wind gusts of at least 58 miles per hour when last friday night’s derecho already raced along at speeds of more than 60 mph, with gusts clocked at 65 mph in Rockville and at 79 mph in Reston including my own house in Fairfax,Virginia when it already formed west of Chicago about 11:00A.M. and by midnight approached the Atlantic Ocean when the massive trail of destruction more then fulfilled the definition of a derecho – it spanned from northern Illinois to the Delmarva Peninsula when to the north and west, 91- and 72-mph gusts were measured in Fort Wayne,Indiana and Columbus,Ohio, respectivey when although the damage it can do mimics that of a hurricane or tornado, a derecho moves in one more or less straight direction because “Derecho” is a Spanish word that can be defined as “straight ahead”, and was chosen as a counterpoint to “tornado”, the whirling wind storm whose name is thought to derive from the Spanish word “tornar”, which means “to turn” when weather experts generally cannot predict a derecho as far in advance as they can other storm systems when laymen who are not listening to weather reports including myself at my house in fairfax, virginia can be hit without time to take over because the visual clues of impending danger, such as darkening skies, come at the last moment when Derechos often form along the northern boundary of a hot air mass, right along or just south of the jet stream, where upper-level winds zip along at high speeds when in summer, the jet stream atop a sprawling heat dome is sometimes called a ring of fire because of the tendency for explosive thunderstorms to form along the weather front separating hot, humid air to the south and cooler, drier air to the north when on Friday, a historic, recordsetting heat wave covered a sprawling region from the Midwest to the Southeast when record high temperatures of 109 were established in Nashville,Tennessee and Columbia,S.C. when in Washington,D.C. which is far away from my house in fairfax, virginia, the mercury climbed to 104 degrees – the hottest June day in the 142 years that records have been kept when the temparature broke previous records set in 1874 and 2011 by two degrees when as stifling air buddled northward, clashing with the weather front draped from near Chicago to just north of Washington, storms erupted when they grew in coverage and intensity as they raced southeast, powered by the roaring upper-level winds and fueled by the record-setting heat and oppressive humidity in their path when the coverage and availability of this heat energy was vast, sustaining the storms on their 600-mile northwest-to-southeast traverse when the storms continually ingested the hot, humid air and expelled it in vioent downdrafts – crashing into the ground at high speeds and spreading out, sometimes acclerating further when this derecho event is likey to go down as not only one of the worst on record in Washington,D.C. just far away from my house in fairfax,Virginia, but also along it’s entire path, stretching back to northern Indiana when the intensity of the heat wave, without reservation, was a key factor in the destructiveness of this derecho event when it raises the question about the possible role of man-made climate warming from elevated greenhouse concentrations – a question that scientists will surely grapple with in case studies of this rare, extraordinary event just before today is “Independence” Day because I only enter the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes by phone all the time.
