PCH Give Back Charity Event Is Back…And Better Than Ever!

A few days ago I posted a blog asking you all to guess what special event was coming back to PCH. I was so impressed by your smart and creative guesses! You’ll be very happy to know that the answer was what many of you correctly guessed – drum roll, please — The Give Back Charity Event!

That’s right, everyone! The Give Back is back, and I’m telling you…it’s better than ever!

For those of you asking, “Huh? What’s The Give Back?” I’ll take a step back and go over the basics.

WHAT? CHARITY EVENT!

The Give Back is an annual charity event run by Publishers Clearing House. In last year’s Give Back charity event, PCH gave a total of $30,000.00 to charity. This year, we’re giving away over $100,000.00 to 3 incredible charities! I told you it was better than ever!

WHO? 3 INCREDIBLE CHARITIES!

We really listened to what charities and causes were close to your heart. This year, fans have the opportunity to vote and make a difference for 3 truly remarkable charities: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, Susan G. Komen For The Cure and The ASPCA®! Each charity will receive a Big Check based on the number of votes it receives from you, the fans! The 1st place charity will receive $50,000.00; the 2nd place charity will receive $35,000.00; and the 3rd place charity will receive $25,000.00! See…bigger and better!

WHERE? FAN PAGE!

The Give Back takes place exclusively on the PCH Fan Page on Facebook. Only fans of our page will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite charity – the charity they want to see receive the biggest donation from PCH! Not yet a fan? There’s never been a better time to “like” us!

HOW? IT’S EASY!

All you have to do is go to the Fan Page and vote for the charity that means the most to you — it couldn’t be easier! And did I mention it’s free?

WHEN? RIGHT NOW!

The Give Back starts today and runs through November 5th! Keep coming back to our Fan Page every day to vote for your favorite charity!

WHY? MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE!

Publishers Clearing House is known for making dreams come true for winners all across the nation. But we also want to make dreams come true for charities and individuals in need, too! I’ve read through your comments on the blog and on our Fan Page before and I know that many of you also dream of giving back to those in need. This is your chance to make a difference. We need YOUR help!

AND THERE’S MORE!

This wouldn’t be a PCH event without a little (or A LOT!) of winning for you, our fans! This year, we’ll be awarding a BIG $500.00 CASH PRIZE every time we hit another 5,000 votes! Just another reason to keep on voting! Cha-ching!

WOW! A chance to make dreams come true for those in need AND for you! So what do you think…is The Give Back better than ever? Will YOU be voting? And for what charity? Comment below and let me know!

I like it…maybe a larger dollar amount or an option on your entry to pick a charity such as Alzheimers or ??? to automatically donate to in the event you are a prize winner of any sort…option of increments of 1% to 25% or ??? Just a thought.

Hi! Voted already. The order I would like to see it is, St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital, Susan G. Komen For The Cure, and ASPCA. Usually I would have gone for The Cure first but St. Jude Hospital has my heart for children.

This is a wonderful idea by PCH! There are so
many in need! I have a list myself of those in need and when my moment comes along, the needy are first on my list. The most urgent keeps changing, of course. Top of my list is wounded warriors; so many who sacrificed for us need so much. Mental and physical help, necessary apparatis, track chairs, constant therapy counselors for broken minds and bodies.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Peace & God Bless, Eileen M Collins

Although the need is definately there and before I was disabled, I gave to St.Judes research hospital, Alzheimer’s Research, Cancer Research, The ASPCA, the Poor of Appalachia, Disabled American Veterans, Multiple Sclerosis Research, etc.
However, I stand my ground when I say that Wounded Warriors should be at the top of the list for those in need. They gave their lives, as they knew them, for our freedom; supporting Wounded Warriors is the least and the best charity to help.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Peace & God Bless, Eileen M Collins
