$5,000 A Week “Forever” PCH Sweepstakes Sweeps The Blogosphere

Could blogging about becoming a $5,000 A Week “Forever” PCH Sweepstakes winner improve your chances of winning?

Absolutely NOT!

But it certainly could catch the attention of one of us over here at PCH Headquarters. That’s what happened to life historian and blogger Susan Hessel. She wrote a funny, charming piece about what she might do if she won our $5,000 A Week “Forever” prize event on her blog, and who do you suppose ended up posting in her comments section? None other than Prize Patrol Elite Member, Danielle Lam!

Susan was pretty floored to say the least to see that an actual member of the Prize Patrol had showed up in her life like that! She told Danielle she had some doubts about whether the Prize Patrol actually existed or anyone really won one of our giveaways. “I entered Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes a few times in the distant past, but was always pretty skeptical about it,” she said.

Still, every time she entered she always sent off her entry with a special wish in her heart… “I used to joke with this friend that I was going to win because I would set up a special fund with the money to do good in the world,” she says.  “Apparently that claim was not recognized by the powers that be as sincere.”

It’s good to see that even though Susan hasn’t won yet, her resolve to throw her hat back into the ring — not to mention her sense of humor — hasn’t been squashed.  But thankfully, I think it’s safe to say that what has been squashed is any doubts about the Prize Patrol being real!

Although, she says, she will definitely be proceeding with caution where the “Forever” Prize is concerned… “Now that I know the $5,000 a week would go to one of my kids only after I’m gone, I need to know which one is not in a hurry to bump me off,” she jokes.

Have you entered to win our August 31st $5,000 A Week “Forever” Prize yet? Remember, if you win, that’s $5,000 a week for your life, then after that, $5,000 a week for the life of someone you choose. What are you waiting for? Time’s running out, so be sure to enter today and everyday!

Good Luck,

Francine L.

P.S. If YOU blog or write about Publishers Clearing House, be sure and let us know here on the blog, on Facebook or on Twitter! Hey, you never know when the Prize Patrol will show up — in your comments feed or at your front door. It never hurts to dream – and the best dreams are always the ones you share!

Hi PCH! PCHs’ are the only Blogs I do. In fact I didn’t know how exactly it was done, but after a few questions were answered I really got the hang of it. I was comfortable enough that I actually started commenting on Facebook. A few years back my New Years resolution was to check emails and facebook more than every 3 weeks! Now I do it daily too! As life changes we change. My dreams are not only shared but contagious, now my hubby says, when you win….

You know if I feel like I’m the only one in the world that does not have face book or tweeter. I do hope that I would win the big prize this August 31. I’ve been counting and counting all the days left till August 31st. I’m so excited that I’m even getting my kids excited they they see the prize patrol come knocking at our door. I told them about maybe some people are going to come knocking at our door with followers and balloons and a big card board saying mommy’s name on it and the big check. As silly as it looks we would be dancing very silly. I have a 4 years old and a 2 years old and baby on the way the end of September. My 4 years old told me “mommy can I have the followers and Zay Zay (2 years old) can have the balloon”. I asked him why and he said that so he could give me the followers (since it always makes me smile when I receive followers from my boys). Of course after hearing that it made me smile. My little Zay Zay told me that he would give me one balloon and we could do our balloon fight. Haayah (he is my little ninja). Always nice to have my romantic Romero and my brave protector Hercules. Well ‘nough said.. I do hope that the Prize Patrol will be coming and knocking at our door.

HI PCH:This is the first time writing a blog. FIRST I just wanted to. Thank. GOD for getting me through this year. IT’S BEEN. A tough year. I WAS LAID OFF FROM MY. JOBAS A LPN. I AM A SINGLE MOTHER WITH A son who just graduated from high school. HE has been so understanding about our financial situation which has been and still mighty rough. BUT BY GODS GRACE WE HAVE MANAGE. BUT IT Hurt my heart that I couldn’t do anything special for him at graduation. AND I HAVE TO GET HIM IN COLLLEGE BECAUSE THAT WHAT HE BEEN WORKING TOWARD ALLL THESE YEARS. SO PCH. THIS WOULD BE A DREAM CO.ME TRUE IF U KNOCKED ON MY DOOR. BUT I HAVE LEARNED IF YOU HAVE TRAILS IN LIFE YOU JUST NEED A LOVING FAMILY AND FAITH IN GOD TO SEE YOU THROUGH. LOSING MY JOB HAS OPEN MY EYES TO THE STRUGGLES. THAT COULD HAPPEN TO ANYONE. WE ALL HAVE TO COME TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY. OR FAMILY AND HELP EACH OTHER. MY DREAM. ALWAYS HAS BEEN TO START A FOUNDATION TO HELP FAMILIES. I HAVE THE NAME “SHERLOVE”. SO PCH I HOPE TO ONE DAY SEE U KNOCKING AT MY DOOR IF NOT. TODAY. BUT I HAVE A DREAM AND GODS WILLLING IT WILL HAPPEN. PCH I JUST WOULD TO THANK YOU PERSONALLLY FOR CHANGING SO MANY LIves. GOD BLESS YOUR PCH FAMILY.

I have a question about legal issues. You see, I want to change my name (for personal reasons), and i was wondering if it would be allowed by PCH, since they know me only by my current legal name. So, if I legally change my name, could it affect my prize eligibility? Should I let you know if I’ve finally changed my name, and how? Please respond, and thank you for reading this.

I know PCH is true and awards the prizes, because there are regulatory agencies in various states that follow contests, sweepstakes and such to make sure the prizes promised are indeed awarded. I know in some states before a company can start a contest or sweepstakes they have to put money in a holding account in that state that would cover the amount of the prize, in the event the company defaulted on awarding the prize. I know you wouldn’t spend money advertising like you do, if you weren’t truthful. I just keep hoping and believing that maybe one day I’ll win a WindFall, and the $5,000 a week Forever Prize would be an amazing WindFall from PCH.

Thank you Francine L., PCH Creative for the interesting letter about blogging!

That was a great story about Susan and her blogging, LOL!!!! And thank you for reminding everyone that it is by entering at PCH that is when you are entered in to the contest, I am hoping I am right about that? I love entering everyday at PCH and just thinking about winning the$5,000.00 a week FOREVER contest makes me feel so very excited! It always makes me HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, that I can dream a little dream about what I would do with all that money and how I can help my family, friends and church.

Well I do not have a blog, just PCH’s blog, which I do try to go to every day and answer any questions, or comments you have for that day. I really think this was a brilliant idea whom ever thought this contest up ($5,000 A Week “Forever”) I am hoping they got a raze in salary, it just makes you think of the bigger picture in life and how you would make life more stable and secure for your family even when you are gone. I am hoping, praying and still dreaming in which, I won the $5,000 A Week “Forever” Prize on August 31st, I know the a chosen successor would receive $5,000 a week for the rest of their life and that would be someone in my family like my husband or my son.

Just a quick note: There was a restaurant in our town called “Palomino” at the end of your meal you got a thank you card that had a quote in side of the card. So, I was cleaning up a drawer of mind and I found one and it said this “ I don’t know much about being a millionaire, but I’ll bet I’d be darling at it. – Dorothy Parker.” I just wanted to share that with all of you because I totally relate to this quote, thanks!

I just wanted to wish you and every one at PCH the very best and I do hope you have a wonderful Month of August!!! I know I will have a lot a fun playing at PCH!!!! THANK YOU PCH for having a fun and exciting website!!!!

To go from a person who has lived on the streets and going through 3 marriages with my mom and 3 with my dad is a accomplishment in it’s self! The feeling of having to eat at a St. Vincent Depaul when I was younger to being the person who would give to those needy people would be one of the greatest feelings to be able to give back! I have already have survived alot of adversity in my life and I’m still standing tall!To be able to give to the poor and help out charities like helping abused and mistreated animals also would be more than a dream come true! I thank all of you at PCH for giving me the dream that maybe I could one day be able to know what it’s like tp own my own house and see the ocean and travel to see the world!!SINCERELY PATRICK

Do you know how many people who have won gave any to charity or helped the needy outside of family members? What is the use of having money if you can’t do good things with it? Things/stuff is all good but you can’t take it with you and it only gives you a moment of happiness until you want to buy something else. I just would like to hear some of the good things/helpful things people have done once they won. This world needs good news. Have a great day ya’ll.

I went to school and recieved my esthetics lisence, but having a hard time finding a job.. If you chose me to win It would change my sons and my life and others. I would donate to charities because I know how hard life can be and it is something I always wanted to be able to do. I know chances of winning something like this is extremely unlikely, but worth a shot. I also might feel a little guilty because I didn’t earn or make the money myself, but God knows I really could use it and so I decided I would try. :)

I have been feeling like Job all my life, no one has cut me a break. I have worked hard and paid all my bills and I don’t owe anything. The bad thing is if you pay cash for everything you have no credit. I got run over by a tractor-trailer in ’97 but that money is gone. I am now disabled and take care of my daughter and granddaughter on my SSD. If we won, we would live in a house instead of the travel trailer we live in now. We would help my sister and brother, and give to the church. It would be nice to go to a store and not worry about whether you have enough money in your account to go the a buffet and eat.

If I won I would not have to worry about paying my bills and what me and my husband are going to do when his ssd runs out. He was on dialysis for six years, because his kidneys went out,(high blood pressure). He finally got a kidney transplant,
after 3 years they they take away your disability. He lost his buisness and cannot afford to reopen it because of medical bills and medication he will be on for the rest of his life. So it is a worry, about the future. Having an income like 5000 a week would really be nice

If I won 5,000 a week forever, it would be a blesssing for my family, myself and especially my children. My parents have sacrificied so much for my two children and I. Especially the fact I have a severly autistic violent child which sadly had to be placed. In a state vacility. The location my baby is at is so far away I barley get to see her. It would b e nice to be able to move closer to her and be able to see her more thatn three times a year.
It would also. Mean I could actually do so much with my son who I have had to sacrifice so much time with him because of my daughter.this would be a way my parents wouldn’t have to worry about simple things like food on the table or constant worry to pay the electric bill. I would also be able to buy my son much nicer clothes, and better shoes. Family helps eachother and even if I didn’t win we will still stick together no matter what and do what we have to do to survive. The simple things in life is a blessing to us and our strength is our love. But If God blessed us with this opportunity, our life would be so much easier not only financially, emotionally and alll around blessing. I’m not saying this to grow attention. Heck no one probably reads this and I know it won’t pursway anyone. I know there are people so much more worse than us. And if they win this over me. Then tthey are mored deserving than us obviously, and may God Bless them. Just wanted to share with so many out there. And whoever does win, I pray it hellps you and your family and hopefully good will be done with the blessing this would be.

With the winnings I can help her and her family move up from poverty which they are living in now. She will move in with me and the two of us will start to create a family. With a winnings for me/us we will create some good people to help the world/USA become a better place for us all. I will invest the funds and grow being I am the only one to carry on my family name. I work in poverty doing retail work now and get my free food donations every week to help me make ends meet. Bless me with a winnings and other can prosper off what I will leave them.

not to be redundant I sincerely hope to win the forever prize. unfortunately I have been out of work since November 1 2012. I am responsible for my special needs sister and am now considering early retirement at age 63. both parents are deceased. So, I am really praying and hoping that my number wins.

Thank youu,
Malinda Davis

It would be a blessing to win they”Forever” prize.
I have 3 beautiful daughters & would pay off college student loans. The youngest daughter will graduate with a PHD in the spring. I have several siblings that are disabled and I would love to help them. I would donate to Cancer research because it hit my family & was devastating . Oh yea , I would definitely build a new home.

If i were to win the 5000 a week forever prize or any of the other prizes that are awarded i would use it to bless my famil and my sons. All of us are at a very dark place in our lives, even with jobs we are struggling. I would be able to be financially stable so that i could send my kids off to college and help others in need in my community and everywhere else.

I love playing the games thru PCH. This time, however, I am having an awful time with Adobe. I have installed it, then it wants me to install another part, which I have done, then it goes to next page to buy, and there is no exit out of it. I have to keep starting over and over and I’m going nowhere

I agree with the last comment. The best dreams are always the
ones you share. And dream do come true. So I am going to keep on dreaming!
