Our winner of a $100,000 Big Check has been playing for 15 years. This is Judi Emering’s very first PCH prize and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The widow retired this past November from the public library, where she had been working for about 18 years. Before that, she was a surgical clerk assistant for about 30 years at a nearby hospital. Thank you for all of your years serving your community, Judi!

Our New Jersey winner said that the first person she would call is her brother, who probably wouldn’t believe her. She plans to use the money to help pay for her mother’s hospital bills as she’s been in care for some time now; the family recently had to sell her mother’s home to help afford the medical bills.

Judi was in shock – she said that as she saw the Prize Patrol approaching her door, she thought to herself, this can’t be, and kept repeating “thank you.” Judi has been keeping it classic and entering for years via the mail. She recommended that anyone out there who’s playing to “keep on entering.”
