#WinnerWednesday: Tracy D. Of Staten Island, New York Didn’t Hesitate When Given A Choice Between A Costa Rican Trip And $20,000

When Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol arrived at the home of Tracy DeCillis in Staten Island, New York, the paraprofessional for the NYC Department of Education was nowhere to be found. PCH always finds our winners, and it wasn’t long before Prize Patrol tracked down Tracy exiting a play in Times Square, Manhattan. When given a choice between a Costa Rican vacation and the cash equivalent of $20,000, Tracy immediately chose the latter. Tracy said she has been playing PCH Games for years but didn’t realize that she was entering the sweepstakes every time that she played. So what advice does she have for other people out there who want to become winners? “You have to play,” says Tracy. “It’s possible!”

  1. All I ever hear is I have to pay to win or buy a card or pay FedEx to deliver winnings. PCH delivers, not FedEx. Tired of hearing this every time I get a text like that.

    1. Hello Everett! The real PCH doesn’t notify our major prize winners via phone, text, standard mail, email, or social media, and we never ask for money to claim a prize. Please report any details you have about that scam contact to us at this link: http://bit.ly/Report-Scam-To-PCH.
