Greetings, fans and friends, and my best wishes to all of you for a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!
Here at PCH, we can’t wait to kick off the New Year with you – because there are loads more winning opportunities in store for you in 2015! Just you wait and see!
As we all know, New Year’s Day means New Year’s resolutions – the chance to start over again with a clean slate, to promise to do better for our own sake and the sake of others.
The top 10 New Year’s resolutions, according to a study by the University of Scranton, are:
1. Lose weight
2. Get organized
3. Spend less, save more
4. Enjoy life to the fullest
5. Stay fit and healthy
6. Learn something exciting
7. Quit smoking
8. Help others in their dreams
9. Fall in love
10. Spend more time with family
However, according to the same study, only 8% of us actually keep our New Year’s resolutions!
Whether my fellow PCH-ers stay true to their goals or not is to be seen – but here are the answers I got when I asked, “What’s your New Year’s resolution?”
Deborah Holland said, “My New Year’s resolution is to reactivate my regular exercise program. I like to stay fit for strength, flexibility and energy. During the holiday season and when I get very busy with other activities, I sometimes cut back on exercise. But, after the first of the year, I will make time for fitness!”
Cara F. answered, “Although a little cliché, my New year’s resolution is to be healthier. It’s easy to change your eating habits and exercise habits for a short period of time but to make it a real lifestyle change – that’s the challenge!”
Dillon H. responded, “My New Year’s resolution is to get in shape for my wedding in November, and to budget my spending!” Wow, it sounds like Dillon has a great year ahead!
Finally, Glenn G. added, “I’d like to do some traveling in 2015, so my resolution is to begin to learn a new language.”
Or will it be to win our life-changing PCH SuperPrize?
Whichever prize you dream about, you’ve got to be in it to win it! So make entering to win your New Year’s resolution… and I hope it comes true!
Happy New Year!
