Back in November 2015 I wrote a blog asking, “Where would YOU like to move?”

In that blog I talked about how President Barack Obama could move anywhere he wants after he leaves the White House in January 2017.  The reason is that he and most former presidents have huge bank accounts derived from big salaries, pensions, books and wise investments.  The question then was — Where will the First Family go next? Back to Chicago? Or to Hawaii or Martha’s Vineyard where they have vacationed? Or elsewhere?

It has now been announced that the Obamas will remain in Washington D.C., renting an 8,200 square foot, nine bedroom mansion worth about $6 million. What a luxury it is for them to have the resources to move wherever they want to go!
