Hey there, friends and fans!
Can you believe the Prize Patrol is getting ready to hit the road again? The December 21st special early look prize event is quickly coming up, and we’re authorized to award $7,000.00 A Week For Life! (For this “special early look” prize event, if the matching winning number is not returned, we will award $1,000,000.00 – guaranteed!) That means another Winning Moment is coming up, and another lucky winner is going to be surprised with a millionaire-making prize!
You may already know that our Winning Moments are televised nationally—how could we hide the absolute delight of winners like Ora Gayton and Tamar Howard? So, a lot of people are going to see the winner’s face…and the lucky outfit they picked out that day!
Of course, part of the charm of the Prize Patrol is that their visit is a total surprise, so you won’t know that they’re on their way. But hypothetically, let’s say you follow the clues we give out on Prize Day and realize that the Prize Patrol is in your state. It’s a real possibility that you’ve won $7,000.00 A Week For Life, and you happen to be home—is there an outfit or piece in your wardrobe you want to have on?
Dress to Impress
As some of you may have guessed from my Black Friday post, I’m a bit of a shopaholic. For years, I’ve believed in the importance of dressing for success (and as I ended up working at PCH, that paid off!), so when I see a good deal on a nice outfit, I jump. If I intuited that the Prize Patrol were on their way to my home to deliver $7,000.00 A Week For Life (which they won’t be—as an employee, I can’t win), then I might change into my nicest tuxedo, like I sometimes do when I present at PCH meetings! If I were to be seen on national television, I’d dress to impress.
A key part of dressing to impress, though, is confidence, and confidence and comfort often go hand-in-hand, so if a tuxedo (or a ball gown for the ladies) isn’t your style, let’s figure out some other options! Perhaps you’re super-proud of your home state and have a team of which you’re a super fan. In that case, maybe you’d go throw on your favorite player’s jersey! That could be a real booster to your team for the next game!
Or maybe you have a shirt, scarf, or hoodie that’s brought you good luck over the years: you wore it to your last job interview or the time you found $20 in your coat pocket. If you have one of those, I’d be sure to be wearing that on December 21st!
But whatever it is you have on, I hope it’s something you love and will wear with pride, whether it’s couture or pajamas! We only ask that you wear more than your birthday suit—but even that won’t stop us, as Martha McMillen and her daughter can tell you!
