Why Does PCH Take A “Special Early Look?”

Have you heard the great news?! Publishers Clearing House is about to take a “Special Early Look” for a winner from Giveaway No. 4900 on October 23rd. That means someone could win $7,000 A Week For Life VERY SOON. But have you ever wondered: Why Does PCH Take A Special Early Look? I’m going to explain, but if you’ve been reading the blog long enough, you can probably guess the reason!

It’s really no surprise! The answer to the question: why does PCH take a special early look is that Publishers Clearing House is all about winning! We just love awarding Millionaire-making SuperPrizes and taking “Special Early Looks” from existing Giveaways enables us to give away even MORE money. When it comes to winning, MORE is definitely better.

In fact, Giveaway No. 4900 isn’t scheduled to end until early 2016. But, because of the numerous “special early look” events we’ve had, Publishers Clearing House has given away FOUR $1 Million SuperPrizes from Giveaway No. 4900 so far.

Why does PCH Take a Special Early Look

In each case, there was no match to the winning number when we took the “special early look”, so we were unable to award the top prize. Alternatively, we held a second-chance drawing for a $1 Million prize. You might say that’s “a million times better” than state lotteries that simply don’t award a prize if there’s no match to the winning number.

As you can tell our FOUR $1 Million SuperPrize winners from Giveaway No. 4900 so far were VERY excited to be given a second chance!

“Amen! Praise the Lord for this!” — Brian W. (Nov. 2014 winner)
“Wow!” — Mark J. (April 2015 winner)
“Oh, I love this!” — Boris C. (June 205 winner)
“This is amazing!” — Robb G. (August 2015 winner)

Stay tuned! We could be giving away THE BIG ONE on October 23rd!  But, rest assured, if there is no match to the winning number, we will still surprise a new PCH Millionaire. Either way, on October 23rd, PCH is going to make some lucky sweepstakes entrant VERY happy! Keep on entering if you want the Prize Patrol to show up at your house!

Good luck!

      1. Hello Maritza, our Special Early Look events allow us to award prizes even if we do not have a winner of the promoted prize amount. Per the Official Rules, a second chance drawing will be held for $1Million when the matching winning number is not returned. This means more money for more winners.
