Greetings, fans and friends,

Here at PCH, we work very hard to educate everyone about how to avoid a scam and how to report a scam. And while it might help other blog readers when you share your scam stories in the “comments” section of the blog, it is crucial that you report scams using our names properly – and immediately!

Report a PCH Scam
“Report a Scam!”
Says Danielle Lam

Whether you receive a fraudulent “friend request” on Facebook from a member of the PCH Prize Patrol (remember, the PCH Prize Patrol never sends friend requests on Facebook!) … or get a phone call, email or letter from someone claiming to be from PCH, who will award you a prize only if you send money first (something that would also never happen with the real PCH), you absolutely need to take the following action:

Report the scam using our Scam Incident Report
Are you unsure of whether or not you’ve been scammed? We have tons of practical help on our Scam Prevention tab on Facebook as well as our Fraud Protection Page at PCH.com.

  2. I received a telephone call from David Brooks who declared that he is the prize agent from PCH and that I had won 4.5 million dollars and a 20220Explorer Platinum truck. The number he gave me that I could contact him is ###-###-7697 extension 005. He stated that they were in Fayetteville, NC and needed my address to know where to deliver the certified check. He then proceeded to say that the Federal government required a state registration receipt that I must obtain from Walmart for $900 with my name and address.

I actually received a call months back saying I won big. I told them, if I won, why aren’t you at my door? Then I hung up!

  4. I received a phone call today telling me I won second prize in PCH Prize. You all have been trying to find me. I gave my new address and the gentleman that called wanted my new address which I gave. He told me I won $2,000,000.00. Plus I won $5,000.00 per week forever. He never ask for info until he told me he needed my bank routing and acct info to deposit my weekly $5,000.00. I refused to give it to him. The call came from a Texas number: 217-360-2644. I wish it was true, but I know it’s not I accidently hung up cuz I was doing laundry. I never answered his call again.
If I did win, it couldn’t come at a better time.
