And the number one way to know the difference between a REAL PCH prize check and a FAKE PCH prize check is this ….
Warning Sign: You Are Told You Need To Send Money To Claim Your Prize Money!
At PCH the winning is always FREE, so we would never request payment of any kind! Remember: You NEVER have to pay to win a PCH prize. The REAL Publishers Clearing House awards YOU the money, no strings attached. We would NEVER ask you to pay some kind of fee or tax in order to claim a prize, whether through the mail, email, telephone, or any other kind of communication.

I received a “refund” check for $650. Wells Fargo is the bank.
I received a check for $12,080.29 with a letter saying I was a PCH winner. The check came from Kendall Office Center in Florida. I am assuming that this is a scam.

I got an email stating I won 2 million dollars and have to send $150 for you to deliver the check. The emails are saying its real, what do I do?

I received a message through messenger on Facebook that claims she is Danielle Lam, and she states that I had won a million dollars and that my private information was secured. I was skeptical, and she needed my info in order to send it to head of disbursement to be attached to my files, and states that it 100% legit real and FBI and Homeland Security is fully aware of it, and that the policies have changed. I questioned it due to PCH never calls, just shows up at your door. I want to know if this is true.

PCH will never send friend requests, private messages, or winner notifications via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc; we also never ask for money to claim a prize.
