My spouse of 30 years had a severe fall in February 2021, causing brain trauma, seizures, and many complications including having to learn to Talk and Walk again. He is a Vet and now has cancer in his bladder and kidneys. His worry before he dies is I won’t have enough money to live on til my death. #2: I live in Kentucky and I am trying to take care of him and myself, we have to pay people for yard mowing and other necessary things for everyday living. My family lives in Indiana and cannot come to help me, as they have full time jobs and/or incapable of activities like my spouse. I would give $, from my winnings to pay off my sister’s homes. My older sister will be 70 in November this year and continues to work full time as she has not got her house paid off. Same with my younger sister, she will be 62 in November this year and takes care of our oldest brother who is 75, soon to be 76 and in Bad health. I would pay the balance due on my sister’s homes giving them a good chance to retire and help my spouse and myself so they could visit me and help me out more. They want to help, but cannot afford to travel even that far for just one day.
#3: I would also like to send money for those people in the world to build water wells so they could have clean, decent water to drink.
After these priorities are made and accomplished in full, with all my own bills paid, I would like a sunroom and deck added on my house.
I would also like to give to St Jude’s for children as much as I could give and other organizations helping children and their families through cancer. I would love to give money for Alzheimer’s research, as my mother passed from dementia and Alzheimer’s in 2008. I am 65 years old, worked hard all my life, but without a career, just hard work. I now have osteoarthritis due to working in factories and waitressing for the most part. I raised one daughter totally alone who is now 45 years of age. In 1976, I lost all my friends except one because I refused to marry the guy who impregnated me. We were engaged to be married until I got pregnant with his child, and then,,,, he became a physically abusive doper and drinker. I stay in close touch to this day with the only friend who did not abandon me in a time of need, and would remember her in my will should I have any money to do so when I pass. I am a grandmother of two, and a great grandmother of 3, but have not yet met the 2 great grandchildren from my grandson.
I had a neighbor who was around the same age as my daughter and this young lady remembered me every Mother’s Day every year, and still does to this day, even though we haven’t been neighbors or even seen each other for many years. She was the only one remembering me on Mothers day and brought me flowers and baked goods every year than we were neighbors, about 10 years. I would also remember her in my will, as I have told her that she has saved my life, but never told her WHY I felt that way. I think I have a story to tell, not here right now, but if anyone reads this and wants to write the true story, (so much more than what this entails!!!) I would love to talk with you. I would need a writer, and a typist, but would love to get my unwritten book into print. This may also take some money. There is so much more but as I take care of a PTSD VETERAN who has 15 months of health issues and 75 years of troubles, I have very little time for myself these days. Thank you for reading and listening to this brief reasoning of why I want to win, and I will help others as well as begin a happy life for myself. Thank you again. My wife and I are retired, and with gas and goods constantly going up in cost, I am beginning to think collecting social security was not my best Idea. This kind of money would take those hesitations away and even
have some left to do some good in this world.

Hi, I’m Nathan. I’m entering this contest, to hopefully give my daughter a stress free life and to hopefully retire my fiance. I grew up in a family that didn’t have a lot growing up and my fiance grew up without both parents, and this would lift so many worries off our shoulder and change our lives. Had emergency Laminectomy-spine surgery on July 27th, 2019-have Cauda Equine Syndrome-walking balance issues use of a cane have incontinence, and I suffered a non stemi heart attack on 12/30/20 – had 3 stents implanted in my Left Anterior Descending Artery.
Have to sell house and find a place to live have 3 rescued cats. Have deep faith in God and that things can turn around. Had a good job making six figures however been on leave of absence since July 19, 2019.
I am unable to physically perform my duties-independent contractor self employed-no pension or 401K only SSA benefits. To win would take care of all my financial needs as well as donations to organizations people that are less fortunate – 10% I would give away.
