Greetings, fans and friends!

Today is Saturday, which means it’s time for the weekly “Danielle’s Desk” video on PCH’s Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter pages – where Danielle of the PCH Prize Patrol answers questions from our fans.

Today’s question on Danielle’s Desk is: I Was Asked to Pay a Fee to Claim My Prize. Was This PCH? Here’s Danielle with the answer:

That’s a really good question … and just to make sure all of our fans and friends know the answer, here are some of the key points that Danielle emphasizes in this video:

• The answer to the question I Was Asked to Pay a Fee to Claim My Prize. Was This PCH? Is NO.
• If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House or claiming to be a PCH Employee who says that you won a prize but in order to claim it, you must …
• buy a gift card or a money order
• pay a shipping, handling or delivery fee
• prepay taxes
• pay a deposit
• give a credit card number, bank information or your personal information
• call a toll-free number

… that person is NOT affiliated with the real Publishers Clearing House.

At PCH, you will NEVER be asked to pay a fee to claim your prize! The winning is always 100% FREE and 100% FUN!

Now that you know that you will never be asked to pay a fee to claim a Publishers Clearing House prize, I hope you’ll steer clear of imposters pretending to be from PCH. PCH does partner with the Federal Trade Commission and we send all scam reports to them so please make sure you let us know anytime a scammer contacts you. Remember, the real PCH never notifies major prize winners via phone, standard mail, email, or social media, and we never ask winners to pay to claim their prize. 1. I was just contacted by a man claiming to be affiliated with PCH and wants 500 bucks to claim my prize! I Google PCH and found out different! Called guy back and he insisted he’s for real! I’m turning him in.

  2. I received someone claiming to be Danielle. Said I won $1000000000.00. We went to Google chat to text. She said there is a charge for activation of $250. I knew then it was a scam.

  3. Yes I need help claiming my package from PCH. I’ve done paid $1000 and got ripped off by one person now I’m being called and told by Dave Baxter that I paid $300 to that I still have to come up with another $700 to claim my prize. They’re already in my state they flew in last night and they’re being detained because I can’t come up with the payment. Is there any way to get a grant or assistance?

  4. I have been contacted by different people claiming to be associated with PCH and indicating that I am a major prize winner. Among the people’s names I have talked to are Jeffrey Collins and Todd Falone. They claim that I am a $5,000,000 dollar PCH winner but I must supply them with my bank information in order for the deposits to be made. They want $25,000 from me ASAP. They have called me multiple times. Todd Falone claims to be a Senior CEO of PCH but I can find nothing on PCH’s website to verify that assertion. They claim that, in addition to the money I have won, I am also to receive a new Mercedes automobile. The multiple calls I have received from the men claiming to be PCH officials have come from this number1-$$$ $$$-$$$$ in Ontario, California. To the best of my knowledge and research, PCH has no office in Ontario, California. Jeffrey Collins is another person who has called me to make me confident that the assertions about my winnings are accurate. The number of calls I get from the above-mentioned number is astounding. If what I am asserting about this being a scam is accurate, please let me know because it is clear that the affiliates are going out of their way to get money routed to Dishaun Watson. at this address $$$-$$ $$$th St; $$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$; Queens, N.Y. $$$$$.
